My name is Dave Doyle. This site is built by Mets fans for Mets fans. I’m not associated with the New York Mets or Major League Baseball. So you can be sure that the opinions on this site are independent. This site is truly by and for Mets fans.
Although I don’t have a degree in journalism, I love writing about the New York Mets. I’m the typical writer without access. My only accessibility to the Mets is sitting in the stands (often the upper tank) and watching on TV like most fans. I’m not a member of the media, just a fan expressing opinions.
My aim is to provide a single source of aggregate information about the Mets. I collect video, audio, and links to mainstream media pertaining to the Mets. This isn’t my full-time job but it’s part-time hard work and fun. If you enjoy The Mets Report, then please support the advertisers on the site.

My name is David Daniels. I am a blogger from Long Island where I generally talk tech, my iPhone addiction and document my search for WiFi Hotspots on Long Island. I have been a Mets fan since 1986. I came of age when the Mets won their last World Series. My work can be found at DavidDaniels.com.
For my weekly column on MetsReport.com I write from a perspective of the Mets fan that remembers how it once was, how it should be, and doesn’t accept how it is. 24 years is far too long to wait for a parade down the canyon of heroes.
