Perez or Maine May Go To Mets Bullpen

Mets manager Jerry Manuel told reporters before today’s game that Oliver Perez or John Maine may go to the bullpen. The Mets beleaguered bullpen is in desperate need of help. Manuel wants a guy that can get swings and misses.

Most likely Jon Niese would be called up from Triple-A New Orleans to take over a spot in the rotation.

Robin, Fantastic pictures! You get some great seats there. Looks like field level over the Mets dugout judging from the angle. Thanks for the photo stream link.

Actually they were loge seats behind the dugout. I hope my seats in Pittsburgh allow me a chance to get some good ones, I’ll be there Saturday and Sunday.
BTW See what you can do about booking more games against the Nats OK? :P
