As usual, one of the biggest position battles in Mets spring training is for the fifth starter. Although the fifth starter can be a conglomeration of garbage, I really like the options that the Mets have for this season. Last year, the battle was between Livan Hernandez and Freddy Garcia. What a mess that was! [...]

It’s not a huge surprise that Perez ran away with this poll. The faux knee injury last year and his “rehab” stint in the minors was a terrible omen for the rest of his 3-year/$36 million contract.

For those reading a feed reader, there’s a poll embedded in [...]

One of the things that I’ve wanted to get your opinion about is whether or not you think that Angel Pagan is an everyday player. He seems to be one of those five-tool players that’s always hurt. Pagan has tremendous athletic ability but he occasionally makes silly plays in the outfield or on the bases [...]

I’m curious to find out what you think about the Mets handling of the Johan Santana injury situation. The Mets were villified for their handling of Ryan Church’s concussion problems last season. It’s very questionable if they’ve learned their lesson from that experience.
Give me your feedback in the poll in the sidebar.
