The New York Mets activated 41 year old outfielder Moises Alou from the disabled list today. Alou hasn’t played at all yet this season due to hernia surgery.
Alou’s return is huge for the Mets. They’ve needed a right handed power hitter in the lineup badly. I’m thrilled to see him back tonight.
