The Mets team doctors spoke to Church and feel that it’s a migraine situation not a recurrance of the post concussion syndrome. He missed two weeks on the disabled list last month due to concussion-related problems.
Church won’t play today against the Phillies in the third game of the four game series. He’s played so well this season for the Mets that it would be a real shame for him and the team if this was an ongoing problem.
