TV: CW11  Radio: WFAN

On Deck- September 26- Marlins at Mets [Game 1]

Florida Marlins (82-76 Road: 37-40) at New York Mets (88-71 Home: 47-31) 7:10pm

Chris Volstad (5-4 3.10) vs. Mike Pelfrey (13-10 3.70)

TV: SNY  Radio: WFAN

What to watch: The Mets and Marlins start a three game series if the weather cooperates. This gives the chance for the Mets to get some payback for the Marlins ending their season in the last series of the year in 2007. Volstad has pitched really well since coming up so this won’t be an easy task.

On Deck- September 25- Cubs at Mets [Game 4]

Chicago Cubs (96-61 Road: 41-35) at New York Mets (87-71 Home: 46-31) 7:10pm

Rich Harden (5-1 1.66) vs. Pedro Martinez (5-6 5.50)

TV: SNY  Radio: WFAN

What to watch: This couldn’t be more of a critical game. The weather report is iffy and both teams really don’t want to see a postponement. Pedro has to be better than we’ve seen him lately to beat Harden.

On Deck- September 24- Cubs at Mets [Game 3]

Chicago Cubs (95-61 Road: 40-35) at New York Mets (87-70 Home: 46-30) 7:10pm

Carlos Zambrano (14-6 3.77) vs. Oliver Perez (10-7 4.10)

TV: SNY  Radio: WFAN

What to watch: The Mets may run into a buzz saw tonight going up against Zambrano. He’s a big-time star in baseball, but got smoked in his last start for eight runs in less than two innings. Let’s hope he’s still having trouble tonight.

Sean Marshall (3-4 3.62) vs. Johan Santana (14-7 2.65)

TV: SNY  Radio: WFAN
