Pedro Martinez Spring Debut Tomorrow

Pedro goes against the Tigers in PSL tomorrow making his first start of the spring. It’ll be interesting to see how many innings he’ll pitch. I would guess it’ll be three. The norm has been two innings for pitchers making their first start and the Mets have always been especially cautious with Pedro. There are only two weeks left until opening day so I hope that they give Pedro a longer leash if he’s feeling good.

Anthony DiComo provides the coverage for MLB.com with the obligatory quote from Johan Santana about how excited he is to spend time with Pedro this year.
