Preview: Mets at Marlins May 14, 2010

New York Mets (18-17) at Florida Marlins (17-18)  7:10 pm

Oliver Perez (0-2 4.50) vs Anibal Sanchez (1-2 4.08)

TV: SNY   Radio: WFAN

What to watch: The Mets have lost 4 of 5 games and really need to get a win. Manuel promised changes to the lineup after the offense just can’t seem to get it going lately. The Mets have lost 5 of the 6 games that Perez started this season and he was awful in his last start against the Giants. The Marlins have lost 4 of the 6 games that Sanchez started although he hasn’t been that bad in his starts.

  1. Let's hope this is the last time that Ollie starts a game for the Met's. Better yet, let's hope this is the last game he ever plays for the Met's.

    1. If Perez won't accept a demotion to Triple-A it puts the Mets in a really tough spot. The only choices they'll have are to move him to the bullpen or release him and eat $20 million.
