Preview: Mets at Phillies May 1, 2011

New York Mets (11-16) at Philadelphia Phillies (18-8) 8:05pm

Chris Young (1-0 2.65) vs. Cliff Lee (2-2 4.18)

TV:ESPN    Radio: WFAN

What to watch: The Mets and Phillies play their second straight national TV game as the Mets try to avoid the sweep in Philly. It won’t be easy against Lee but the D-Backs did get to him in his last start for 4 runs over 7 innings.

Young has made one start since coming off the disabled list with bicep tendinitis. He was shaky in DC going 4.2 innings and allowing 3 runs. He seemed to run out of gas in the fourth and fifth innings but should be in better shape after being back for nearly a week.

I’ll be doing a Mets fan pre-game show tonight live streaming with Kerel Cooper of On The Black. It’s a completely interactive show, so join us to talk about the topics you’re interested in with other Mets fan. The show is scheduled to start at 7pm Eastern time and you can see and join the show at the page at Ustream TV.
