http://view.picapp.com//JavaScripts/OTIjs.jsThe Mets finally got a good game from Mike Pelfrey for the first time in a month and a half. He went 7 shutout innings and threw 122 pitches only allowing 4 hits. He didn’t go overboard with the splitter tonight. It seems like the league has caught up with that. It was a great game that Pelfrey needed badly.
There wasn’t much offense for the Mets but they were up against Ubaldo Jimenez. They only had 4 hits but did have 5 walks. The only run of the game was on a Jose Reyes sacrifice fly in the seventh with the bases loaded and one out.
The Mets looked good for the first time in quite a while. It’s a nice way to start this series.
