After every Subway Series the Empire State Building is lit up in the colors of the winning team. It’s usually for one night only so it is easily missed. I figured I would get some video just to rub in this years Subway Series win. Let’s Go Mets!

This is a really good interview by Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports with David Wright. Interestingly, Wright says that he’s not worried about his excessive number of strikeouts. He’s only worried about having “good at-bats”. Also, he says that Jerry Manuel’s tenuous hold on the managerial job is a distraction. The Mets players would rather be answering questions about their play on the field.

Here’s some video from Fox Sports with Jim Bowden previewing this year’s amateur draft. Bowden’s mock draft has Bryce Harper going first to the Nationals and the Mets with the seventh pick drafting catcher Yasmani Grandal. Grandal is a junior at the University of Miami and a 2010 preseason All-American.

John Maine was very upset hours after being removed from last night’s game after facing one batter on five pitches. Clearly, he and Jerry Manuel have a major difference of opinion on this.

Angel Pagan talks to the media after his amazing game last night in a 5-3 loss to the Nationals. Pagan hit an inside the park home run and started a triple play. Unfortunately, he couldn’t do it all by himself in another Mets loss.
