May 25, 2010 - New York, United States - epa02173153 New York Met Pitcher R.A. Dickey pitches in the fourth inning against the Philadelphia Phillies, in Flushing New York, USA, 25 May 2010.’s game was defined by another outstanding start by R.A. Dickey. He went 8 IP and only gave up 4 hits and 0 runs. The Tigers couldn’t do anything against him. It’s incredible that he keeps this run going.

Also, Angel Pagan left the game in the fifth inning with a muscle spasm. Hopefully, he won’t be out for too long. He’s been playing so well this year.

The Mets offense was solid with 8 hits and 4 walks. Jose Reyes was 3 for 4 with 3 runs and 1 RBI, just a double short of the cycle. Ike Davis was 2 for 4 with 2 RBI’s.

The Mets are on fire at home and go for the sweep tomorrow night against the Tigers.
